The Chute · Legal
Terms of Service
Effective October 1, 2026
These terms are between you and Bloom & Brisket, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company based in Boulder County. They apply when you access or use The Chute website, ranch management service, and connected assistant features.
Using The Chute
The Chute provides tools to organize livestock and ranch records, estimate calving dates, track health and breeding events, manage reminders and expenses, and work with connected assistants. You must be legally able to accept these terms and provide accurate account information. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Your records and permissions
You retain responsibility for the information you enter or upload and must have the rights needed to use it in The Chute. Keep appropriate copies of important business records. Ranch owners are responsible for inviting appropriate people and choosing their access roles. Members may only access and use ranch information as authorized by the ranch owner and applicable law.
Assistant features and changes
Connected assistants can access only the tools and ranch information allowed by your account settings and membership role. Some tools can prepare a draft change; changes are saved only after the required confirmation. Review proposed details before confirming. You remain responsible for checking the accuracy and appropriateness of records and actions.
Not professional advice
The Chute is a recordkeeping and planning tool. It does not provide veterinary, medical, legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice. Calving dates are estimates based on recorded information. Health records, withdrawal dates, reminders, and assistant responses do not replace advice from a qualified veterinarian or other professional. Verify important decisions with the appropriate professional.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Some features require a paid plan. Prices and included limits are displayed before purchase. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize recurring charges at the displayed price until you cancel. You can manage billing and cancellation through the subscription settings. A cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period; any applicable taxes and payment-provider terms also apply. Except where required by law or stated at purchase, fees already paid are not refundable.
Acceptable use
Do not use The Chute to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, interfere with the service, probe or bypass security controls, upload malicious code, or access information that you are not authorized to use. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed to protect users, ranch data, or the service, or to comply with law.
Availability and termination
We work to keep The Chute available and protect stored information, but the service may be interrupted or changed. We may suspend or end access for a serious violation, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the service. You may stop using the service at any time. Where practical, export records you need before closing your account; retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Chute is provided without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every operation. To the extent permitted by law, Bloom & Brisket, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or decisions made using estimates or records. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived, disputes relating to these terms or The Chute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Boulder County, Colorado, and you and Bloom & Brisket, LLC consent to those courts’ jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the effective date and provide notice for material changes. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law. These terms are provided by Bloom & Brisket, LLC. Questions about these terms should be sent to chute.support@bloomandbrisket.com.
